Kidney Stones

Small kidney stones (less than 4mm) can be passed by the body fairly easily without discomfort however stones larger than this can cause extreme pain in passing and may get stuck, causing a blockage in the urinary tract and further problems.

By addressing the cause of your propensity to create stones in the liver you can reduce or even prevent large stones forming and becoming a problem. If you have kidney gravel but not stones then taking action now will help prevent stones becoming an issue.

Check for gravel in the kidney by pulling down the lower eyelid. The inside should be clear and smooth. Lumps and bumps here may indicate the presence of gravel in the kidneys.
